About Abingdon Fencing Club

Abingdon Fencing Club meets throughout the year at the White Horse Leisure & Tennis Centre, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, UK.

We meet on Thursday evenings in the main sports hall. The juniors (ages 8 to 16) fence from 7.30 pm to 8.30 pm and the adults from 8.30 to 10.30 pm.

All weapons and abilities are welcome. If you’ve never been fencing before we regularly run introductory courses for new fencers. See our Calendar section to find when we are running our next course or send us an email.

We host an annual team competition, the White Horse Team Trophy each summer.

As well as fencing, we enjoy a programme of social events; recent events have included a skittles evening, a barbecue, attending an outdoor Shakespeare performance and a visit to the pantomime for Christmas.
